Creating your first QR code in LibreQR is a simple process you can complete in just a couple of minutes. Here are the steps.
How to generate your QR code
- Log in: access your LibreQR account with your email and password.
- Go to your dashboard: from there, you can create a new code.
- Choose the code type: select QR code and decide whether you want a static or a dynamic one.
- Enter the content: add the URL, text, contact details, or whatever information you want to encode.
- Customize the design (optional): adjust colors, shape, or add a logo if your plan allows it.
- Generate and save your code: confirm the creation so it becomes available in your account.
- Download or share: download the image in the format you need or share the link directly.
Static or dynamic: which one to choose?
A static QR code stores the information directly inside the code itself and cannot be changed once created. A dynamic QR code, on the other hand, points to an address you control from your account: you can edit its content at any time without changing the printed or published code, and you also get access to scan statistics to see how many times it has been used.
