What you can change in a dynamic code
In a dynamic QR code, you can edit the information it redirects to (for example, the URL, the vCard details, or the text), as well as the design (colors and logo), without the code's image changing.
Steps to edit a dynamic QR code
- Log in to your LibreQR account.
- Go to the list of your QR codes from your dashboard.
- Find the dynamic code you want to modify and open it for editing.
- Update the content (for example, the destination URL) or the design as needed.
- Save your changes.
Any physical or digital QR code you've already shared or printed will still be valid: there's no need to reprint or replace it, because the code itself doesn't change, only the content it points to.
Can static codes be edited?
No. A static QR code stores the information directly inside the code itself, so it cannot be edited after it's generated. If you need to change the content of a static code, you'll have to create a new one from scratch. If you expect you might need to make changes in the future, it's best to create the code as dynamic from the start.
